Anuragyam proffers Sir M. Visvesvaraya Award in memory of greatest Indian Engineer, Bharat Ratna Award holder, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya on his birth anniversary. As we know, in India we celebrate Engineer's Day on September 15, 2022. Hence, Sir M. Visvesvaraya Award is a yearly award and will presented to the people associated with any disciplines of Engineering (Research, Academia & Industrial).
Eligibility : One should contribute to high order of Indian Engineering and Technology society. One should be able to gather respect from the society and engineering community as well.
Criteria : The nominee should be an eminent engineer from engineering teaching background/ innovator/ expert in engineering sciences/ a technologist of distinguished honor. One must have made significant contributions in one or more of the following:
● Academic and scholarly achievements in any discipline of Engineering and Technology,
● Outstanding research in engineering and technology and application
● Outstanding contributions in the management of education and research in Engineering,
● Outstanding achievements and contributions in the Indian industry, engineering services or engineering projects.
Nominations : Nominations of engineers, engineer-scientists and technologists will be invited from the Anuragyam in the fields of Engineering, Technology, and Technical Education Management.
